In my opinion, the internet can always use a bit more YOU. US. Humans human-ing. The little moments of magic or beauty or chaos.
I think there’s something special in our “ordinary” – because our “normal” is foreign to everyone else.
That thing you do or see every day….. Someone else has never come across it before.
It’s new.
It’s a curiosity.
It’s literally a snapshot of a moment they’ll never experience otherwise.
These little moments bridge hearts and minds, and you feel just a little more connected to humanity (whether you’re the sharer or the viewer).
But how do you do it so it doesn’t feel like a performance or a burden or just one more thing?
Here’s a bit about what I call “001. LITTLE MOMENTS”
(Add one to the number each time)
There’s no need to explain.
There’s no need to add more context.
There’s no need to link or hashtag or geotag or add music.
Simply a piece of you. The moment and the viewer.
Someone I know did this in her stories a few years back, and I absolutely was so excited to witness it every time.
She still has them gathered in Story Highlights if you want to check them out: @lindsayteague “TIS” (for “Things I Saw”)
